Annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser

August 27, 2016


This year’s event was an enormous success; our largest fundraiser ever!  We served over (200) spaghetti dinners, raffled (26) baskets, a grand raffle and (13) silent auction items all to raise funds to send (600) care packages to deployed military members around the world on September 17, in conjunction with the Folsom Community Service Day Military Care Packages project.  We came very close to raising the $8,000.00 for postage, shy by only a tad!  Thank you to everyone for supporting this wonderful organization whose sole mission is to support the local military community members and their families along the highway 50 corridor from Placerville to Elk Grove

1st Annual Crab Feed - March 10, 2018

STICKS BAR AND GRILL

We had a surprise visit from a wonderful donor, Jordan Kergan, the owner of Sticks Bar and Grill at Sunrise Golf Course. He, along with Napa Smith Brewery Distributor organized a disc golf tournament on our behalf. Last night, Jordan presented Jody Bollinger, RHBSMS organizer, a check for $500.00!!! WOW!! Many thanks, these funds will pay postage for many care packages we are sending in March!Type your paragraph here.

Another successful donation day!  Thank you to all the volunteers who came out for the event at the Roseville Automall!  Our storage is now full of donations waiting to be packed at our upcoming Care Package Packing event.

A Visit to a Girl Scout Meeting


BIG shout out of THANKS to Girl Scout Troop 38 for their cookie donation! Without groups like you, we wouldn’t be able to send so many care packages! Chapter President Wanda Alteri Matus attended the troops meeting to present a certificate of appreciation and tell them about our BS “Brag” Flag-displays photos is our military children! 

3rd ANNUAL MOUNT AUKUM WINERS WINE & BBQ FUNDRAISER 

On April 30th, we held our fundraiser dinner at the beautiful Mount Aukum Winery.  Delicious dinner was prepared by Chef David Maestas from West Coast Events; Mount Aukum wine tasting was fantastic; great time with old and new friends.  Raffle baskets galore made from donations valued at over $2000,  were won by many happy faces!
