CARE PACKAGE PREPARATION AND PACKING PARTY AT THE MASONIC CENTER

Volunteers from Intel Corporation, Brownie Scouts, Cub Scouts, Masonic members and more came out on March 25 and 26 to prepare and pack 500 care packages! 

We received thank you photos from some recipients in the Middle East in just 8 days!  Thanks from the troops:

"Dear Rolling Hills Blue Star Moms and the wonderful El Dorado Hills Daisy Troop #1881!!!!!!!!
I wanted to thank you for the wonderful care package you sent me! You guys are the greatest!!!!!!!!"
After I thanked him for his service, he also wrote, "No, thank you! I really do appreciate everything your organization does for us soldiers. It makes me really happy knowing they're are people who don't know us but still care about us."

LESLIE ROPER DAY & ASSOCIATES PACKING PARTY

Clients from Leslie Roper Day & Associates donated 100% of the goods that were packed in to 100 care packages at their Shred Event on April 23.  Additionally, they donated over 100% of the postage cost of $1400 to mail the packages!  We love the Roper Day Family! 

CARE PACKAGE PACKING PARTY!!!! JUNE 9 & 10, 2017

Thank you to everyone that volunteered at our June 9 and 10 Care Package Packing Party!  We packed and mailed another 500 plus care packages! 

What an amazing day!  We have a thank you already from one of the service members, he wrote,

Hello, 
I'm writing this message to say, "thank you" for the care packages. Everyone here, Kabul, Afghanistan, really appreciates the time and effort that was put into sending the care packages. The boxes were supplied by the Chaplain, and distributed to the service members. Everyone was very happy to receive the items, especially the girls scout cookies. Again, everyone really appreciates your generosity and it certainly improves the moral of the soldiers.

This is exactly why we do what we do, those that have volunteered know that it is a long, sometime hot, and physically draining day, but it is so worth every minute!  We absolutely LOVE what we do!!!

Folsom Community Service Day-Care Packages for the Military Project

Annual Folsom Community Service Day, we packed 550 boxes in honor of General William “Bill” Wade - they will bless 550 valiant National Guard Heroes that are Deployed.
Huge thanks to the City of Folsom, The Folsom Veterans Hall, Sacramento Sea Scouts, National Charity League, Century 21 family, the community volunteers, and most importantly our Blue Star Moms & Associates. I am awed and humbled and so very grateful for your hours and hours of selfless devotion and hard work for our Military & Veterans. It is my honor to know you all. 

Special Thank you to Scott Raab & Move America Forward for the Girl Scout Cookies - and the Bortoletto Family for all their hard work.

3rd ANNUAL FOLSOM COMMUNITY SERVICE DAY

The Third Annual Folsom Community Service Day - Care Packages for the Military Project on September 17, 2016 was once again lead by Rolling Hills Blue Star Moms.  We packed and mailed our largest ever...

675 care packages to service members deployed all around the world!

Assemblywoman Beth Gaines, Mayor Steve Miklos and Councilman Ernie Sheldon all stopped by to lend a hand!  Thanks you to Aerojet Rocketdyne and Safe Credit Union for providing many of the volunteers this year!  We had a recordbreaking 100 plus Folsom community volunteers assist us!

Thanks to Auburn Constructors too!  On this day, they and their family of volunteers, painted the entire exterior of the Folsom Veteral Hall at absolutely no cost to the Post!

GIRL SCOUT COOKIES GALORE!

Special thanks to Girl Scouts Heart of Central California Council and Bank of the West for creating the Girl Scout Cookie Cupboard pick up for Blue Star Mother Chapters.

And a special thank you to Brownie Troop 2387 for donating their cookies to us!

We had a very successful care package packing party on Saturday!  We packed over 200 boxes heading to deployed service  member around the world; to include several of our own Blue Star Mom children!

Special thanks to Bed, Bath and Beyond, stores in Folsom and Elk Grove for their donation of the many baby wipes, jerky, hand cream and much more that filled the boxes!

We absolutely love what we do!!!

Mini Care Package Packing Party

We had a couple of mom's children that were deploying so we decided they needed some love - 200 packages packed with the assistance from the ladies from the National Charity League!  Thank you all!

Annual Christmas Stocking Stuffing Event

We were blessed to have 50 plus ladies from the National Charity League of El Dorado County here to help us stuff 450 stockings.  They were delivered just before Christmas to military and children in need.

HOLIDAY CARE PACKAGES RECEIVED!!

137 Care Packages delivered to our Deployed, just a little smooshed but arrived safely in only 20 days. Amazing considering that included the Holiday Postage Frenzy!
Do you see those smiles? That's why we do this. And the whole time they're enjoying the contents of that box, those smiles are going to stay there. Everyone that Volunteers, Donates with us is a part of making that happen. Thank you to Intel Corporation for giving Rolling Hills Blue Star Moms the opportunity to  be a part of their Team Building exercise.

Another 200 care packages are on their way to deployed service members all over the world.  We had special donations from the Blue Shield of California, Operation VET, El Dorado Little League and the Hands for Hope at Oak Ridge High School. Annual Stocking Stuffing Party

A huge thank you to Jo Turney for organizing this annual event.  This year we stuffed over 400 stockings which all be donated to military children at the California National Guard Headquarters in Sacramento, the 115th Regional Support Group in Roseville, Families at Travis AirForce Base, Children at the Mather Veterans Village and other children in need!  What a great event.  Special thanks to Jo, Leslie Wade and Jody and Jack VanKirk for picking up all the toys that were purchased by patrons of the Dollar Tree Stores in Citrus Heights, Folsom, Rancho Cordova, Placerville and Cameron Park.

We also stuffed 75 stockings for the patients at the Mather Veterans Hospital with socks, playing cards, toiletries and more!
